Is it normal to hug a pillow while sleeping?

I'm 18, and still like to hug a pillow while going to sleep. I don't get lonely or nervous, but there's still something comfortable about it. Does anyone else do this?

Ohmygosh
I'm the same way!! When I was little it used to be a stuffed animal, but now it's a pillow. It's just comfy :)

Yeah, probably because you're used to doing it. So anything that deviates from this norm wouldn't feel right.
I think you should take it further and give your pillow girlfriend (or boyfriend) a name.
I have a friend with a pillow girlfriend. And it's not weird at all.

Yeaah it's the same as children hugging a Teddy bear. It's just comfortable I guess ahah :)

I'm 18 and I still sleep with my teddy bear *cough* pretending it's a boyfriend/lover*cough*. At a friend's house, I hug the pillow too. Apparently I was hugging her, too...

What did she say about that?

I have four pillows. Two for my head (Yes I know it's bad) one for between my legs and one I keep on my chest and put my arms around.

I had my arms around her, and she said I tried putting my legs around her, too, but the blankets were in the way. My friends were teasing me, lol- "ooh, do you have some unresolved feelings?" I was like "... yeah, I don't remember anything". I remember I was hugging the pillow, but I must've turned around and hugged her. She slipped out of bed and I must've turned back around to hug my pillow >_<". It's more comfortable when I'm hugging something

That's pretty funny. I agree, it is more comfortable hugging something. But nothing beats having your leg around someone you love legs and your arm around them.

Don't worry, you're not the only one in that situation. I hope your first in everything will be with someone you love and the person loves you as well.

I hope so, too. I'm not the one who's like, "I want my first kiss or I want to lose my virginity so badly!" type person. But then again, I don't want to get too old.

I'm a huggin monster! I get hugs all day long. then I go to bed and hug a big feather n down pillow i made. fall asleep hugging it, wake up same. put it in the tumble drier regularly to keep it fresh! yummy!
