Sometimes I'll have a song that just clicks and I have the desire to listen to it over and over. Anyone else do the same? Or know if there's a reason for this?

At the minute I'm doing that with Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and the Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel, so I'm not so worried since those songs could never die.
What song are you talking about:)?
P.S. I also agree you can never kill Bohemian Rhapsody or The Boxer. Some songs are just too good. I'm adding Life on Mars into that group too.
I'll make sure to be careful though:P!
I know it's a stupidly tough question, but... favourite three Bowie songs?
The only answer I'm actually certain about is Ashes to Ashes, which is the song that made me fall in love with Bowie. That's the only song which hasn't left the top three, and I feel like it never will.
Hmmm...Life on Mars...? I don't even know what it is about that song, it's just perfect.
And as for number 3, I really can't say. The answer to this changes too much for me to make a commitment to any one songD:! At the minute, my answer would either be Starman or Space Oddity.
I realise that I've chosen incredibly obvious answers, not that that makes a difference, I mean they're obvious for a reason. Although, I do feel like a lot of other songs just missed out.
And I hope you know that I won't be able to get this question out of my head! I'll probably be very tempted to come back here and change this answer, several times:P Also, sorry for how long this is.
Your turn:D!
I have to put Life on Mars in because I've listened to it more than any other song in existence (by anyone) and I still love it just as much.
Now it gets tricky. I can't not have Ashes to Ashes in there for exactly the same reason you gave for Life on Mars. It's perfect. Especially for me. Because it's a follow-on to Space Oddity (the first I ever heard) and because it's desperately sad. It's impossible to listen to without feeling it.
And now suddenly there's only one spot left.
Bugger.
To be honest, it could by anything from Ziggy, Hunky Dory, Space Oddity, or half of the rest of the albums (even the modern stuff). I feel really, really mean for not picking Space Oddity (or anything from the album, which I love, love, love) but there's a voice in my head that has been saying the same thing all the while I've been typing this.
Rock 'n' Roll Suicide. I like how it builds to a really over-the-top crescendo, but actually a reassuring one. It's driven me nuts that I can't have Ziggy Stardust in my list (I love it just so much) but I think Rock 'n' Roll Suicide is about Ziggy. I'm going to keep telling myself that, anyway. :)
Christ, that was hard.
And I so agree with what you said about Ashes to Ashes. That was the only choice I felt 100% sure about, it's definitely number 1 on my list.
...and yes, I just cheated completely by writing this. :D
P.S. I have Oh! You Pretty Things in my head right now and I think Rock 'n' Roll Suicide would be under threat if I was writing this now. I need to go and listen to it right now!
