Not in the negative sense that would involve some sort of self harm, but more in the, lose the reasoning in what you want to do with your life.

might even meet some friends that share a common interest.
I also recommend talking to a psychiatrist to help you find the holes in your life and fill them. Therapy might be scary to do because no one wants to have something 'wrong' with them but it really helped me when i was depressed.
