Most people have their own, because it's kind of gross to wipe your face on a towel someone else has dried their butt with.

I share a bathroom with my bro, but have my own towel. I also always hang it on the same towel rail so he knows not to use it.

You can buy towels these days rather cheaply or pick them up in a garage sale. Having a different color for each member is an easy way to keep things hygienic. Always wash them in hot water to kill the germs. Get you own if you have to and put a hook in your room to keep them separate. But I would NOT share towels with others.

I'm the one out of ten people in my household that can keep a towel. everyone comes in and try to take it and I'm like what the fuck are you doing. I hate the thought of another body drying off with my towel. they're skin cells and everything else that's all over it makes me sick. I don't wanna be mean so I let them. afterwards I throw that bitch in the washer with bleach.

It's not hygienic. You should all really get your own.
