It could be a combonation of two things. One could be tha you want someone to sleep with, in the most innocent sense of those words, or just want to be held like you say. It could also be that you like the feeling of pressure. For whatever psychological reason it is, I like sleeping with a heavy comforter much more than a light one. Maybe unconciously, it feels safer, more comfortable or maybe -I- need to be held, but I've liked it ever since I was young. Try a heavy comforter without the pillow, just to see, or find yourself a boy/girlfriend!

When my husband is gone overnight with business, I sleep with a pillow directly next to me. It feels like he is still sleeping with me. Otherwise, I toss and turn all night long.
