Is it normal to sometimes search for gory pictures?

Sometimes when I'm bored I start randomly browsing the internet and get the urge to look up gory pictures, like "jumped off building", or the like, and I don't look at the pictures for very long because they make me uncomfortable but I still searched them. This happens very infrequently, and I don't LIKE the pictures, but sometimes I just feel so curious. Is this normal? By the way, I'm a girl, if that makes any difference.
