Spongebob Squarepants is actually pretty funny, I find. Some of the jokes are quite well thought-out and I generally watch it when it's on. Also I am a sucker for old Looney Tunes cartoons.

It's very normal to like kids' shows. I don't see why some teenagers and adults are embarassed by it. I mean, hey, adults MAKE the cartoons.

I lOVE kid's shows! Also, for me, the line is actually quite blurey between Spongebob and Sealab2021. Ren & Stimpy and The Simpsons probably help bridge the gap.

In our society it's normal, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. Our society is extremely fucked up. Why don't you just watch Sesame Street? I mean, you're only 18. Who needs documentaries or world news or history or science programs when you're just 18? 18 is the new 8. Pretty soon 18 will be the new 2, and you can just lie around on the ground and learn to walk whenever the hell you feel like it too.

i'm 18 as well, and i absolutely love kids shows. i'll probly pick them over anything else that's on.
some of my personal favourites;
recess, the weekenders, spongebob, arthur.. i friggen love arthur. that's all i can really think of.

also, i think that spongebob shouldn't even be a kids show, really. some of the jokes they put in there, most kids are too young to understand them/appreciate them. haha
