It is absolute insanity that people are allowed to have whatever kind of car they want. There's something really wrong with people being able to buy fast cars or have more than one. We need to impose some common sense regulations on what people can drive and what cars are made. The most important one is that NO ONE needs a car that can go more than 50 miles per hour. Only police should be allowed to have cars that can go faster than that. The only reason anyone would want a faster one is so they could try to out run police which no one should ever be allowed to do. Next cars need to be made less durable. They should be completely destroyed when they crash. Why? First of all it will be better for the environment to use stuff that isn't as good. Next it will stop crime because people won't ram their cars into buildings anymore and police will be able to kill criminals trying to out run them more easily by ramming them and also people would drive more carefully. It would also make them cheaper so EVERYONE can have a car and not just the 1 percent. Also no family should be allowed to have more than one car. You don't NEED more than one car for everyone. Everyone who has a car that was made before these laws needs to give it to the government and get a new one. I know this will piss off republicans who want to destroy the environment and libertarians who think people should be able to do what they want but I don't give a shit. If they don't like it they can go to Somalia. We need to start protecting the world NOW.

I drive over 50 almost everyday, and half the time i'm not even running from the law. Ha. And since when is fleeing and eluding punishable by death?
You should be able to figure out why a family may need more than one car on your own. But i have 2 automobiles, without a family, and if it makes you feel better i can only drive one at a time.

Look, if you want to help the environment concerning cars you should be focused on eliminating the reliance on fossil fuels. Promote sustainable technologies that will inevitably phase out existing ones, not remove them at gun point. You didn't type this on an antiquated tandy home computer did you? No, because something better was developed. You use a better computer because of market saturation and all the incentives of the new product.
People already have a taste of it, taking it away will make them want it more. Tuning it, replacing engines, modding and just driving at 50mph when the law is around.

If cars were like what you said, I would kill my self right now! I love cars. I love driving, I love the feel, the sensation, the passion of driving a car. I also find that real cars must have atleast 200hp and a top speed of 200+kph. My car goes up to 250kph and it still isn't enough! Car makers should make newer cars more powerfull and faster! So people can enjoy the magic of the automobile.
And I want to have atleast two cars. A sedan, an AWD car and a convertible muscle car.
If I see you on the road with your paper-car, I'd glagly run you over with a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado!
