Of course that's OK. You might not want to tell your mother if you think she would disapprove, though, she might react badly and if you still live with her that would not be very fun for you.

sure why not? you can be whatever you want. I'm atheist too and you'll find that a lot of people nowadays are atheist so your not left out.

atheist.and yes its ok.you may have to go to church and do stuff with your mom while you are a minor but once you are an adult live like you want to and believe what you want.

Yes you will fit in on this site real good, if you are on east coast time then tonight around maybe 9 go in the the chat room on this site and just talk all about how you dont believe in god and they will confort and support you. You will be with other anti christ and you can all talk about your trip to hell together.

And if your mum frustrates you by constantly 'praising the lord' then find the passages in the Bible that may have contributed to your decision to be atheist and ask her to explain them... At least you won't be bored lol!

it is just normal my friend, i have been an agnostic my entire life, wich means i dont believe on god,but i dont loose my chances on believing on him, but for the moment i believe on science, theres more evidence that supports them than to support religion, i told my mother when i was 7 that i didnt believed on god. it takes a time, but she would be fine.
