Is this a normal way to eat?
Sometimes. As a snack, I like to eat salsa or peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon. Never both at the same time of course, that'd taste bad. I just wanted to know if its normal and also, if its healthy.

A lot of people do the peanut-butter thing, but I've never heard of eating salsa straight out of the jar.

Peanut butter can put on weight and very fast, it is loaded with fat and calories. Be careful about how much you have. I used to go through a half jar of peanut butter at a time, eating it with just a butter knife straight out of the jar. I admit it tastes great but once you start it's hard to stop-kind of like eating potato chips. I stay clear away from that stuff now.

me and my sis did that when we were like 7, then when i saw peanut oil on top i thought it was her spit and I freaked out and started yelling at her for spitting in the peanut butter, then my dad said it was ok cuz it was just peanut oil, so i guess what i'm trying to say is yeah, it's coo, lots of protein but it will make you a fatty some day

i love peanut butter, it gives me good farts. LOL. one day i dipped salsa chips into peanut butter and ate it. it was good
