Is it normal that everytime Im in a room for a long time, that it starts to smell in that room? Especially if its not well ventilated? I noticed especially when I wake up that it starts to smell very bad in the room that I am in. Im not the one who notices it but other people come to me and complain to me about it. I noticed this over time when at first my mom always complained about it when she came back from work, but I always thought it was my brother cause he hardly ever took baths. But I soon I moved out and I lived in three or four houses and everybody that I lived with or visited always told me the same thing. I thought that it was probably my socks, so I put my shoes and socks litteraly outside of the house, I also took a shower before I went to bed. But I still get the same results after I wake up in the morning or if Im just in a room for more than 10 minutes. What i would descibe the smell to be like would be like something raw. Like if someone with bad breath sleeped in a room with their mouth open. Infact I think it is my mouth or maybe my nose. The thing is that I have sinussitis but Im not sure cause I never got it confirmed from a doctor. So I have to always breathe with my mouth. Can that be it?

Rare - but possible-

Trimethylamine builds up in the body of patients with trimethylaminuria. The trimethylamine gets released in the person's sweat, urine, reproductive fluids, and breath, giving off a strong fishy odor. Some people with trimethylaminuria have a strong odor all the time, but most have a moderate smell that varies in intensity over time. Individuals with this condition do not have any physical symptoms, and typically appear healthy.

I had disgusting breath for years. I had no friends and even family keep me at a distance.
I was flossing brushing and rinsing everyday but still had bad breath. I spent thousands on all kinds of products claiming to stop bad breath but still had bad breath. I came across an eBook from badhalitosisbreath.com and it gave me my first insight into my problem. After I did all the advice in the eBook it identified Post Nasal Drip as the primary issue with eating and cleaning as the oral problem.
So I was happily surprised when my brother asked the following week why my breath didn’t smell any more, I told him what I’d done he’s like thank god for that book!
Now 6 months later I have my first girlfriend and worked up enough courage to tell her about what I was like just 1 year ago. She said I smelt better then any other boyfriend she’d had. Music to my ears!

i had really bad sinusitis and the smell was horrid! (at least what i could smell.... then again, it WAS in my nose)

go see a specialist if you can to make sure you actually have a sinus infection. this can cause very bad breath, and might be the culprit. some simple antibiotics might clear it up.

yeah, it turns out it was sinusitis. I looked more into it and it turns out that the bacteria from my nose was causing me to have a form of halitosis. thats why it would smell pretty bad, especially in the mornings. thanks a lot guys for your responses.
Hey by the way, what did you do to get rid of it? I still have it sort of and i havent been able to go to a doctor still. Ive managed to control it a little bit by not eating that much sugar. supposidly sugar makes my situation worse. thanks.

Some people don't eat enough and leave around the smell of hydrochloric (stomach acid) acid. They're used to it so probably don't smell it. Criminal grade halitosis is really popular, whatever, so you're not in bad company. Do you suffer acid reflux at night? Oh and watch dem little bum burps too..'cept if you're a girrrl you don't do them, natch..

You can try changing your diet... Also talk with your primary doctor and can do a full examination to get to the bottom of this. In the mean time drink plenty of water, fruits , and veggies. Make sure that you are brushing your teeth and taking showers and that you are using a good soap. Good luck to you!

Excessive sugar in your diet can cause bad BO. You drink alot of pop, or eat sweets? There's also quite a lot of sugars in food products with high carbohydrate factors. Eat fresh fruit and vege and everything will come right.

Hey guys, this is me again with bad odor problem. Just decided to give you guys and update of what has happened since I wrote this.
Well, I figured out what the problem was and found a remedy for it. After some time I figured out that it was my nose. I finally went to a doctor and he told me that I had "nose polyps" in my nose. Nasal polyps are teardrop-shaped, noncancerous growths on the lining of your nasal passages. I have about 5 little growths about the size of a uvulla in my nose and thats a problem because it blocks my nose from smelling, and from taking in fresh air.
So as a result of me not breathing in fresh air my nose is storing up bacteria and releasing it as watery mucus causing me to have some really bad "halitoses" or bad breath.
The doctor gave me some drugs to get rid of it, but they didnt help, so now he recommends surgery but I dont have the money for that and I really dont trust doctors.
I looked online for a natural remedy and found this guys advise, "So the answer is.... Manuka honey... Now it is entirely possible that all the cortisonal drugs have fried my brain, but I'm here to tell you that it really does work. What I do is disolve about 1/2 a teaspoon into a cup of distilled water then put that into my nasal rinse bottle (the neilmed kind). I then rinse my nose out about 3 times a day. It worked almost from day 1..." .
This is from an article in http://www.revolutionhealth.com/forums/asthma-allergies/89004 .
Hope this helps anybody with the same problem I had and I will respond back in a Month to tell you guys what happend with my situation. Im in the middle of buying the honey that I will get in a week from Ebay. See you guys later and thanks for your funny responses haha.
