Ive had external hemorrhoids since June 2011, and as of June 2012 they are still there. When I first got them they made sitting feel uncomfortable and when I went to the bathroom they would sometimes bleed, but now they are just, well, there. They dont hurt, they dont bleed, they dont feel uncomfortable, its like they arent there, but they are. Is this at all common and is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

Once they stopped causing me irritation I checked to see if they had gone and they hadn't. I check every now and again but so far there has been no change.
