I don't know. my first time was with my best friend for whom was also it was also a first time. she had a normal period. jst so you know, but not to encourage unprotected sex: if you have sex up to 10 days after your period you won't get pregnant. 13 days with some women.

i think its normal. cus after i started having sex my period has been late ever since. i guess it just depends who you are. but it can't be good, if it continues you should go get it checked.

I'm almost 18 and it was my first time with someone I love and whom I've been dating for a year and was in for leave.

Personally, yeah, I've been there. Periods 10-17 days apart. It's really not fun.

I'd guess the reason that you had a late period was because of the heightened hormone levels involved during sex. Since it was your first time, you had never had that kind of hormonal stress on your body, so the way it coped with it was to delay the period.

Just use protection for any future encounters, and you will be okay, as long as you are protected against pregnancy and STDs. Same old sermon - Abstinence is best, but at least use a condom.

womens 'moodiness' for some odd reason turns me on.

My older sister has a book that she keeps handy for her dating situations. It's titled, "Why Men Love b**ches". She says it is very inspirational. I don't know. I would say a man would come closer to a woman who could take care of herself than a woman who was flaky and dependent. And I don't think it's the moodiness, rather than the peak in pheramones. You never know what your body will do without your permission!

Your perioud fluctuates dates every month. Just this time you were more freaked out and noticed.

Not really, I was 16 days late last month after sex with my bf.

Its depends on yoru stress levels and your food consumption. worry too much and eating too little causes uneven periods.

yeah, if you freak out about it, or obsess over it, as tends to happen after your first time, you'll be late.

u were probably scared that u were gona get pregnat lol ... and that caused stress which caused ur period to be late ... and i would worry more about stds then pregnecy

You know what I was wondering?

If you make the guy wear, like, five condoms it would significantly reduce the risk of getting pregnant...so why don't people do that?

try getting them on and keeping them all on. Plus that could be pretty damn constricting

don't worry it happened to me too. after my first period i was 2 weeks late! it takes time for your body to adjust to your menstural cycle!

condoms arnt 100% safe, no matter how much the crazy people in the add tell you.

You can get pregnant while on your period,after your period,in-between periods,some woman ovulate all the time. You can get pregnant by using a condom,it can tear,fall off etc etc. You can even get pregnant on birth control,and even if the guy pulls out,I did. You missing your period,may not have had anything to do with you having sex,it could have been stress. I highly suggest you get on birth control,and always,always use a condom.

oh yea,I forgot to mention something,when it comes to pregnancy tests,there can be a wrong negative,but never a wrong positive,I was pregnant for 4 months until my pregnancy tests came up positive.might have been because i was using the cheap brand preg tests i dunno,good luck.

if you are under 17, and not on the pill... then yes, you will be off on days every once and awhile.

yeah this perfectly normal. flows are kinda abnormal for the first , well, up too the first year or so.

All you people do not know how much this has helped me and my girlfriend!
We have had 2 big scares and YES we used protection*
But I always tolled her that if she stresses out a lot your piriod will come a little bit late, even more if it's your first time!!!

umm jus wondering cud my gf be pregnant. about 13 days after her last period, we tried to have anal but i did not go in...im pretty sure any precum DIDnt touch her vagina when we tried that....and and about 10 days later, we had sex with protection (condom).. she is now 3 days late for her period so should we be worried about her getting pregnant?? please help:) any similar experiences would be much appreciated. thanks

I am one day late and have taken like 5 tests and one at the doctor. I am really stressed about it and haven't been eating much. I don't even feel like i'm going to start. Any one else experienced this?

The same thing is happening to me right now. Until I found this and something similar on Yahoo Answers, I was worried soo much. It's only a few days late, and the sex was 8 days ago (4/22).
