Look, there are trillions of zillions of lives on earth. Ants, bees, wasps, mushrooms, weed,
germs, bacteria, monkeys,. No matter how they look or how small they are, every single one of them is a life!!
Lotta people say life is precious we should protect them.
When you brush your teeth, don't you kill millions of germs living on your teeth? Do you feel any compassion about it?
Imagine you're one of those germs living on someone's teeth. Good food, it's all nice and warm, life is fantastic, you got 32wives and 62,937 kids to feed. All of a sudden, it gets flooded with Literine and wipes out all your family. Isn't it sad??
I admit that I sound insane but, can't you see how meaninglessly lives die and eat each other?
I am just one of those innumberable lives in the world.
P.S.
I'm not emo or evil!!!! but just curious :D
One of the funny things about life is that you need death for life to survive and flourish. That's just how things are. Balance. Circle of life yadda yadda.
Wouldn't it be weird if we were flushed off the earth by cosmic listerine? Or equivalent haha
Btw, you're not evil or emo for thinking about stuff ;)
not all living beings have the same level of conciousness and awareness
it all starts with lifeless objects then minerals simple plants trees bacterias bugs smll animals beasts humans demons angels and so on untill you reach to the highest points of conciousness - the Divine level of conciousness
THE ALL (God/ Deity) and all of it's manifestations which are the Gods and Godesses the physical embodiments can be seen in simple and regular phenomenas and cycles in Nature which is by itself isthe physical embodiment of the Goddess in this world her spirit dwells in it
no one will argue that plants fangi and cacti have a lesser level of conciousness then beings of the animal kingdom from the point view of biology
yet they have a greater level of cociousness then minerals and other lifeless objects even though they to some extent too have some kind of a level of conciousness much much gross then of our species
you incarnate with eachlife cycle which begans with birth and ends with death through all of this chain of perfection
from a rock to a human
untill you reach the one the Monad THE ALL the God and become one with it receiving henosis and the gift of the end of the cycle of incarnation
then THE ALL starts a new life begening with the grossest level of conciousness which again maks up through the whole chain and the cycle starts ones again

Existentialism is a wonderful idea, a rational idea.
There is no purpose for human life, just the result of a splendid series of accidents.
Don't let that depress you, at least you happen to be part of the species on Earth that can form and articulate the questions about its existence.
I love you analogy of the germs in the mouth, and to support the comment before, don't stop thinking, because that's what brings meaning to yourself and those around you.

THe point is that we kill things all the time, we assume that life is what we want it to be, but when we pull carrots out of earth we are killing them, when we cut flowers to give to a girl we are killing them, when we eat meat we are killing the poor cow.
Conclusion you are right and even if it's not normal thinking like that I applaud it!
Off Topic: Since you mention weed, were you high when you thought of this?
We're different.
It's depressing, I know. Something crazy we'll never understand, too.
