okay this is a talent I would think but when it comes to focusing one thing so you can retain most of it, then it becomes a flaw,
I can think and read at the same time and listen to conversations or tv, radio or whatever, basically I can do 3-4 things that involve thinking or doing stuff certain things (all at once), it happens against my own will, I have to fight it when I'm in class trying to pay attention, anyone you like this? Is it normal?
Do you think it's normal?

I'm not like that i'm the opposite but i think its pretty cool!
i wouldnt call it normal as such but its not strange .. i'm very impressed to be honest lol and a tad jelous =P
yeah im like that
Can you walk and chew gum, too? Rub your tummy and pat your head? Stop being so impressed with yourself.
That will be a very useful skill in the business world.
I wish they could somehow implant a little link into our brains that would allow us to google with our thoughts.
Sometimes when im reading i reach an almost trance-like state where i'm still processing the word on the page but also developing my own thoughts (like an inner monologue) at the same time...sometimes on a totally different subject to the piece im reading...
wuldn't that be called multitasking??? idk, but yeah i can also do that and know a few others who can also...nuffin special, just pretty normal i guess
I can listen to the radio and my iPod all while singing one and clapping the beat to the other. It's just multitasking.

That happens with me too. Having different thoughts but retaining the information your reading. It's GREAT for me as the book in english isn't very exciting but i can still complete the workload in class :D
