Long distance relationships?

So last summer I was involved in a long distance relationship of sorts (a few hours' drive) but it ended pretty quickly and I didn't talk to the girl for a while until recently. She's saying she's really ready to start over and is asking me to take her back. I still like her but I feel like it's not going to work because we won't see each other much and I'm just not sure about the whole thing. IIN to have torn feelings about stuff like this? What should I do?

It's normal to feel that way. Most always long distant relationships never work out. If it didn't work the first time, it definately won't the second time. Unless she is willing to move closer to you.

I have a long distance relationship of 2 years...

It's working pretty fine actually, and in the next 6 months I'm moving the 8 hours car drive over.

People say it's impossible because they had a crappy relationship or simply can't see it working. But in reality all relationship are most likely gonna end and not work out. why put long distance in it's own seperate catagory?

Normal. Play the field, and that can include her. Be straight up with her about it if you choose to date around.

That kind of sounds like my situation, my boyfriend and i had a long distance relationship a few years ago and it didnt work out then but now we are back together this time (still long distance) and its going great!! I love him to death and we are super close. we have been back together for almost 6 months now. I think you should give it a shot :)

Give it a shot at least you'll know it's over for sure if it turns to shit again. Just an FYI it's not in your favor to work so you'll both have to try harder. Try discussing expectations up front.

It is completely normal to feel hopeless about that situation, best thing to do is just move on and tell her no, if it didn't work the first time, chances are slim it will work a second time. Trust me, I was in a relationship and ended up breaking up with him 3 times, each time he guilted me into going back with him, so I did, I was miserable, and it just never worked. Even though this doesn't really relate to your exact situation... but usually second and third attempts fail, that was my point. I am in a long distance kinda thing, but we're not officially 'together' and plus I'm moving back down to where he lives in like 2-3 weeks... so yeahhh.... Just save yourself the trouble and say no..

If you're sure enough that LDR is not your thing, just DON'T do it. Never let the girl wait for nothing.
