Me and my friend found a fox den!

yeah, me and my friend found a fox den along the railroad tracks on the side on the bank. its kind of foresty where the den is, and theres lots of holes leading inside. its cool. once me and my friend saw two of the kits from a distance playing atop a rock near the den, it was quite cool. i even put a rag from my house when they where inside near the hole, and we watched them play with it! we have left bits of dogfood by the den and they have aten it, it was so cute. there are about 6 kits and i have seen the mother, she doesnt look to ferocious, and i think shes a tad used to humans, but still a bit on edge. my question is, do you think its okay to become friends with these foxes, so me and my friend will be able to pet them and hang out with them? i mean, they are really cool, and beautiful. me and my friend are 15, both. we like animals, and are very well-knowledged in that department. i know its not wise to touch wild animals, but in this case why not? i dont think it would be a big deal if we became friends with them, do you think? please leave a comment thanks.

you should go pet the fairy flowers to, and maybe micky mouse will join u!
i tried to become friends with a bat once..it was a cute little baby bat...ya...it didn't work out between the two of us.... THE LITTLE FUCKER BIT ME! i suggest you don't unless you wanna get a series of rabies shots like i did..not too pleasant i might add.
well you seem like a kid who has very little friends, so take advantage of the situation of being able to have some.
no there are several problems with what you are doing.these wild animals are wild, you never know when they might turn on you and hurt you, secondly they might carry diseases foxes are a common carrier of rabies.and by feeding them you are surpressing their food hunting skills.

and finally you will make the foxes lose their fear of humans and then some asshole will be able to shoot or trap them easily.
I doubt you will ever be able to get that close while thir mother is running the show and after she leaves them then it will be to late and they will have a lifetime fear of humans. I have a cat thats lived her for over 5 years and I still cannot pet him because he was born wild.
omg!!! soo coool
Unless the foxes act entirely undisturbed when you approach them I would recommend against it. The mother fox could give you rabies or some shit if she decided to bite you.
No. you shouldn't be touching them. it could make their mother not want to take care of them. alot of animals are that way.
