If I make a move on a girl it is for sure a compliment towards her. I have standards and I am not the only one.

It is true that guys can be shallow and just want sex (as can girls). However, I'm a bit worried about your self esteem. Why wouldn't someone find you attractive? A compliment is no reason to jump into bed with someone but you can definitely take it as a "real" compliment instead of putting yourself down.

Sure there are a couple factors that come into play:

The whole thing is situational. Sometimes people will do it to say they did, others for a bet, and some folks just like fat/ugly people.

Ummm, it's probably pretty normal to think that considering the bad rep most guys have in the eyes of us women. Having sex with you isn't neccesarily a compliment whether you are pretty or not. Showing interest in who you are and wanting to get to know you is a compliment. Whether the guy is sincere about his motivations is unknown until you give it time. There are guys that will bang anyone and guys that have standards.. everyone is different. Either way, don't let a guy's interest affect how you feel about yourself.

Actually, I think YOUR problom is that you don't believe them when they give you a compliament. That's a problom I've observed in allot of women. Women are much pickier about women's bodies than we are. Either they point out even the smallest imperfection on another women just to be a bitch,or if they can't find one, they hate the other women out of jealousy.

There's TWO reasons pretty girls are more attractive to men, one's the obvious, the other is that we'd rather not be around jealous bitches.

well the second part of your post is true for many guys but id have to disagee with your first part-that guys will sleep with any chick-most guys are so shallow that it is the complete opposite----they could care less about a girls feelings or what kind of attitude she has or how good a person she is as long as she is hot.

The way to solve this as a female is not fall into bed with a guy as soon as he shows some interest---make it a point to see if he is interested in you or if he is just wanting some stuff.
