I've posted about my brother before but this is another of my brothers who is younger, please I need help with this cause no one understands!
Me and my brother are completely different, I'm quite quiet and geeky, I have my head in a book most of the time and I wear a lot of dark clothes and love rock music, aside from the fact I have a mild form of physical disability and I'm not popular in any way.
My brother is VERY popular, he's loud and outgoing, everyone knows who he is and they love him. His grades have been slipping as his popularity has been rising, he loves pop music and absolutely despises rock music and people who are generally like me (emo, if I had to choose a word for it).
Recently he's been voicing his problems with my personality a lot more than he used to, he's told me that I'm clouding his image (yes, he said that!) with my depressing (he said that too) demeanor and dress style (dark clothes, combats, hoodies) he said my music taste was out of date (kings of leon, david bowie, three days grace, avenged sevenfold)and he said I was really a bad person to be around. My dress sense I can't help, I have a job in a music shop in the shopping centre which I don't see the point in dressing up for, I'm also a student studying physiology and I have a lot of work to do concerning that, My music taste is just my taste, I used to listen to similar stuff as a young child and it brings back memories for me. My brother doesn't understand this and when I was reading a book one day (To Kill A Mocking Bird), he had the cheek to say books were out of date and I should get a kindle or use the internet! I ignored this, he's not in college yet but I know his grades are slipping because of his new approach on life. I also go to college with his friends' sisters and they are bitches to say the least, he thinks I should be more like them basically, short shorts and make up and liking Justin Bieber and all that jazz. Those same girls also told him I was a complete nerd (I get A's and B's, only 2 C's on my reports.) and that I was depressing and a lesbian because they looked over my shoulder at my ipod to see three days grace playing on it! And my dear little brother agrees with them, he posted a picture of me reading a rock magazine in a black hoodie and jeans, on facebook next to one of his friend's sister reading a gossip magazine in a low cut top and minskirt, under the one of me there was the words MY SISTER, then under the other photo A NORMAL SISTER, the caption read "What have I done wrong?" My ex, who is still a great friend of mine, posted a comment, "No, the question is, what have you done right?" 8 people liked his comment but 26 people liked my brother's friend's comment "Bitch please, you were the poor sod blind enough to go out with her, she's wrong. Just wrong, can't you see that? Poor Matt, (My Brother) why did you get cursed with a sister like her?"
I cried for three days, the worst thing is Matt didn't defend me. I know I should ignore them all but it's getting too much. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have however heard such stories before.
So, it is probably normal... Even though it does mean that he, like most people, is just another idiot trying his best to be popular.
I beat the hell out of my brother. Threw him into a wall. After that i didn't hear another bad thing about me. His friends didn't fuck with me again lolz. Then again the majority of my family doesnt like me.
Don't change you for your brother!
You will end up with a job and a nice life and only heck knows where he'll end up
Be yourself and stick up to your brother!
Show him your strong and he can't bring you down! Ignore him because he's being a jerk
He's your brother and he should treat you right

Don't cry over his stupid stuff because he's being stupid and mean and your better than that and you know it! You wouldn't say those mean things! Stay strong <3
Cut your brother lose and live your own life.
He's also immature, and sounds like a real douchebag who cares far more about himself than anyone else. Not a nice person. Move away from him when you can, cut him out of your life.
