LOL! I love the smell of my cats fur to! They smell so comforting, like home! That's not too weird, at least not to me.

totally agree! love cats in general. love the way my cat smells....hate motherf*cking dogs though....they smell disgusting

god i LOVE cats. i love smelling like a cat and i love the smell of cat food. i think its cause we have so much good memories with cats that we always remember that feeling when we smell it =))

My cats are indoors and they always smell really nice. I don't know where they get there smell from but it's so lovely, I'm addicted..

They almost smell sweaty and dogs don't even sweat. Strange..

I loves to sniff my kitteh. Even started a Facebook group - Kitteh Sniffers Not Quite Anonymous because I'm just not going to be able to stop.

I have the most amazing, adorable kitten. And I know this isn't the best thing for his health, but sometimes I spray febreeze above him cause it soaks into his fur and makes him smell so fucking good for like a week.
I smell him all the time, he smells like me and my room. Very comforting.

Febreeze on his fur doesn't sound like a good idea since he's probably licking a lot of that off and ingesting it:(

But I also love to smell my kitten's fur, it's a subtle scent but it's so clean and fresh smelling. I agree that a dog's fur smell is absolutely nothing like cat fur.

Cats in general smell good. Their saliva contains an antibacterial element.

There is nothing like snuggling up against my cat when he's been stretched out in sun for an afternoon nap. I love to put my nose into his fur and breathe. The sun seems to bring out the best in a cat's smell. Something herbal that I can't quite describe. It's sweet and clean, though.

He spoons with me every morning and I get to hug him and smell his fur. He's like a little teddy bear who loves to be hugged.

As for Febreeze or anything else sprayed on a Cat ... a big no-no. Those chemicals are NOT intended for consumption. If you love your cat, don't spray her with anything she could lick. That is why Advantage and other flea treatments need to be applied to the base of the skull, so the cat can't lick the area.

Treat your cat well, and smell him or her often!

Don't worry guys, my boyfriend bitched me out for this too, I haven't done it again. Poor little baby.
But it's okay, he's really healthy and happy. I have kitty shampoo for him now and it smells amazing too.

cats are smart and they know how to take acare of themselves, the smell nice too ^^
