My purple ear wax..help!

I swear this isn't B.S. <br />
Lately over well the past year or so, when I clean my ears the wax is a deep purple color, which scares the sh*t out of me. Has anyone experienced this and should I be worried?<br />

I have a huge chunk of ear-wax that won't come out. I don't care what color it is, I just wish it would come out of my ear.

Maybe Barney the Dino has been jackin' in your ear when your not looking. You should pay closer attention, perhaps check under the bed before lights-out.

Purple earwax can be a sign of one or more of these things.

1. Masturbation
2. Homosexuality
3. Marxism
4. Islam
5. AIDS

Purple earwax? I have yet to meet someone who has. If you haven't been feeling any pain from it or lost any hearing, I wouldnt' think it was that serious. But in any case, no, this is NOT normal and you should probably see a doctor for it. Good luck.

I HAVE PURPLE EARWAX TOO!! I thought it was so wierd that something must have just been in my ear, but every time I clean my ears with a Q-tip, the Q-tip comes out purple. Does yours almost look blue ink? I know there isn't ink in my ear because I don't stick pens in my ear, but the wax looks dark purple/blue. What color is your pillowcase? That is the only thing I can think of that is causing this, but I don't see how my ear is absorbing the dye out of my pillow.

I have purplish/bluish ear wax in 1 ear today as well. Thats messed up, but its not my pillow, its not ink, but I was a smurf for halloween and painted everything blue, but that was 2 months ago!
