don't. if he doesn't like you, he doesn't like you. that's that. and don't keep nagging him to try and get him into a relationship. i know i'm being cold, but keep his feelings in mind. i have that exact same situation with someone, and i hate her for it. i really don't like to hurt peoples feelings, and she keeps trying to hurt herself. she keeps calling out of the blue talking about some small incident that happened (eg, i met her at a party and sat in the same room as her), asking me if i had changed my mind about her and if i like her and stuff. i'll admit, i did at one point. then i saw who she was. it's been a never ending struggle for 2 years now. i've tried letting her down soft, i've tried putting her down hard, i've even asked her out a couple of weeks back to shut her up, and we broke up yesterday. i can't stand it anymore. if he liked you at one point, you must have done something wrong to lake him stop liking you.

I think I at least want to keep him as a friend. I can deal with us not being in a relationship. Would it be a bad idea to hang out with him on the weekend? He mentioned it.

If he mentioned it.. why haven't u gone out wth him yet? ... Give him another chance to ask you out .. and see if you could feel a spark between both of ya.. don't convince yourself... it will be clear enough when u go out together..

it is so simple to see if a guy likes you that way. all u gotta do is send him signals that u like him, believe me, it won't take him long to realize u like him that way, and if he likes u like that as well u'll know as well.
a girl can always tell.

I'm a guy, and I personally hate when a girl just won't tell me how she feels. I say that you should tell him to his face. Notes and having friends do stuff for you is the kinda crap you through In second grade. I say again, and take my word for it, I'm a guy, you need to tell it to his face.
