Yes, having a girlfriend can be a pain in the ass at times. And if you're getting action without a relationship there is no incentive to be in a relationship.

Yes, very normal. Some guys like the companionship of being with a woman but many can do without it since it brings upon many hassles and sacrifices that often are just not worth it. One such hassle is the perpetual, pestering telephone calls as females moreover have a difficult time shutting up.

Roger is very wise beyond his years, if a guy can get action and not be committed to a relationship, then there is little motivation to be in one, aside from raising a family.

Choose a quiet girl who is independent, not needy and low maintenance. They tend cause less stress over time. Too much togetherness is a bad thing.

I'm used to being alone and relationships are never stable and always seem to crumble and that's likely to make me worse than better, I dunno about you, but if you feel you don't need a relationship, don't get one. Fuck what society thinks...lol
