actually the bible doesnt say to hate homosexuals.....that idea has been planted by the religious right in a perversion of what the bible actually says regarding homosexuality.

As a fag I'm used to straight folks getting freaked out.

My Dad and my brother used to be really freaked out about gay people until I told them that I was gay. After that they became super supportive. I guess they realised that gay people could be okay and could be people that they were close to.

I don't judge my Dad or brother for having being uncomfortable with the idea of someone being gay. Most men don't meet real-life gay folks so they spend their whole time surrounded by fellow haters and never get to know a gay person for real. So I don't like it, but it doesn't upset me that you hate fags 'cos I can understand how you've become like that.

I also don't like it when straight people say that they 'love all gay people'. They obviously haven't met some of the gay people I've met. To be fair, some of us are fantastic, some of us are okay, some of us are a pain-in-the-neck, and some of us are easy to hate. Hmmmm, just like straight folks...

It did stand somewhere about fags in the bible. (my mom told me) god destroyed those cities cuz it was so much evil in em. people was whoring so much and killing. For the most part I think people are entitled to their own opinions but seriously what does a man being with another man or a woman being with another woman have anything to do with you? Unless your still in the closet and feel threatened because you dnt know if you'll be able to turn down the next homosexual who hits on you you really have no reason to hate them. And just in case you feel that's not the case and you are straight then how does two men being together effect your daily life at all? In reality, most of my family is democratic, and I like them perfectly well.
I've worked with many Mexicans, and they are as decent and honest as anyone you'd want to meet.

Hate is a strong word. It's normal to be a bit grossed out if you see people kissing (a romantic act) when it doesn't invoke romantic feelings in you.

I have two friends that are gay, it doesn't mean that if I see them making out with another guy, or girl I won't be grossed out. Because it isn't normal for ME. Who knows, they might think straight people making out is gross.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but not all gay guys like anal. (And while I'm on the subject, not all lesbians like oral.) There are many, MANY things gays and lesbians can do together.

So, if you just have a problem with anal sex, that's not a good enough reason to hate gay men. Lesbians can have anal sex (and I'm not just talking about anal-oral!) and so can straight people.

Anyhow, its natural to feel uncomfortable around gay people, alot of guys do feel uncomfortable because gay people are different. Naturally men are attracted to women, women are attracted to men. If homosexuality is really inborn, than it is not natural, it is a deviance of the normal. Those who fight to say it is inborn say that a portion of the brain in the male is enlarged when normally it is small in a straight male (this same portion is enlarged in the female brain). However, this is only prevalent in some gay males (since the studies are based off this, and its not proven that this deviance is what causes homosexuality, not all gays are actually gay. Or else homosexuality is not in born).

Anyhow point is, it is different, and some gay people push their sexuality so flamboyantly it is wierd to be around them. No different than some people feeling strange around snobby people, or uncomfortable around gangster ghetto kids.
