Don't know why but ever since freshman year I've been obsessed with Nirvana. I have 4 of their CDs, downloaded all of their songs onto my itunes, have two of their shirts and I can play all their songs on guitar and sing them. I can also play the whole Nevermind album on bass too.
I also know the whole story of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain's biography. I read his Journals which I liked because it gave a lot of information but I also felt guilty because I felt it was an invasion of his privacy. His journals gave a lot of insight to his mindset and I share a lot of similar views with him.
Every girlfriend I've had has said that when they listen to Nirvana they think of me now. They picture me playing guitar and singing lol. I'm also a straight guy but I would go gay for Kurt Cobain ;)haha. (I'm not one of those people that think he's a god or anything. I mean he was very imperfect and I don't like that he commited suicide.)
I don't know why but I just think they're the perfect balance of everything. I've listened to so many different genres of music over the past 4 years and Nirvana has and always will be my favorite. I'm always in the mood for them. Somehow they changed my life in a way.

I find the end of those bands strange though, i always looked at cobain as selfish for what he did . And staley as tragic, just slowly letting himself rot away, not leaving the house or speaking to anyone. I remember being seven or eight and seeing the news of cobains death on the tv.
