Maybe i'm just getting old, i don't know... the thing is that around 96 or 97 i just stopped liking new music (with a few exceptions of course), and now every time i want to listen to some good music i have to tune in the classics stations.
Do you think it's normal?

Yes, I am the same. Had my 98th birthday last week and lost my zimmer frame so can't go out now :-(

haaaa too funny,ok but yes i would agree our music has become mindless rambling,history repeats itself,it will get better one day dont worry.

I studied classical violin from the ages of 10 to 22. Even so, I find about 75% of the music the classical stations will play to be too sedate for my tastes. Any classical music written prior to about 1835 is very mannered and formulatic -- 20th century composers like Bartok, Prokofiev, Ligeti, and Stravinsky have the raw power and emotion that I miss in the older classics. Unfortunately, the stations always seem to default to Mozart, Handel, and the like. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

There is nothing wrong with mozart, Handle, Chopan, or any other of the oldies. My favourite piece is Handels Water Music. BLISS

I got some bad news for you. You are going to be deaf b4 you get to 50 because of the excrutiatingly high volume you listen to your "music". You and most of your cronies are already halfway there. You are all "Tone deaf" already!!!!

yeah me too.Im hung up in the 1960's mostly.I love the country and rock from that era.I especially like the psychedelic/haight ashbury type stuff from the late sixties.And I like the old blues from way way back-----robert johnson ,mississippi john hurt etc.
