another senseless mass killing but yet again it wont change anything.....we seem too lazy and stupid as a nation to fix anything any more.we will yack about these killings and the NRA will use it for an ad campaign and we'll wait for the next one.


all these gun nuts say the way to stop gun violence is to allow people to carry guns so they can stop stuff like this from happening.wonder why none of the gun toters ever uses their guns to stop stuff like this? If no one will stop a shooter in a gun city like Omaha then it wont ever happen and the whole armed citizen garbage has been a fraud.


the only thing that allowing people to carry guns has done is give guns to morons that dont need to have a pointy stick much less a gun.

It seems like it's just another case of some kid making a misdirected counter-attack against society. These things happen, and will continue to happen. If it's not a gun, it'll be a knife, crossbow, or homemade bomb.

You can make it harder for the honest man to obtain guns through gun control but the criminals will always have access to weapons on the black market.

Gun control is just another way for democrats to keep the public ignorant of there own constitutional rights,and another way for us to be "controlled". Did anybody ever think that maybe the reason why people go on shooting sprees is because it's almost acceptable in our culture? I mean really you see it on the news everyday,it might as well be a fact of life. I know this might sound unsympathetic especially to families that have had a loved one victimized to this kind of crime,but usually those people who act upon random, murderous rampages end up shooting themselves anyway,if they didn't they'd just get 5-10 years you know 2 with good behavior,because they are suppossedly insane at that particular moment,so good riddance I say.

How about if they give all the Americans 1 gun and 6 rounds of amunition each and said, right, you are armed. You can now go and kill the 6 people you hate most. That would solve some problems, would it not?
No, don't be so stupid? What do you mean. You are selling them willy nilly. It is only one step further to giving one to all and setting them loose. Either give them to every one, or take them from everyone.

When in fear,and when your adrenaline is pumping,you can't control yourself,or even think straight half the time. So you guys are forgetting that a majority of the United States would find it very hard to pull a trigger anyway,and those few who do kill people for whatever reason don't find it hard,but in a sense if you gave everyone a gun,there wouldn't be total cayous,because not everyone is a bloodthirsty animal. I am fortunate enough to live in a community where getting robbed at gunpoint is like winning the lottery. For those who do live in large cities,I doubt most of them even own weapons. The problem with the idea of gun control is,If someone wants your money,or wants you dead,they will do whatever they want.I think I'd rather be shot than stabbed or beat to death with a crowbar,or baseball bat. I think people should be psychologically evaluated before purchasing a gun or something,they should have to say what they want to use the gun for. I wasn't trying to say I think shootings are acceptable,I was being sarcastic,I'm just saying people act like this is just something that recently started. Serial killers have been around for quite some time,and with the way cops act now,and how screwed up the court systems are with letting people get away with everything,and being so lenient,I'd say it's only going to get much worse. Lenient laws don't encourage greater freedom of expression,they harm innocent people in the long run. That's what people should be focusing on,not taking away our right to bear arms,they should take a step backwards,and bring back stricter law.
