Online girlfriend

I met this girl online in september. We traded pics and talked for about a week. One day we were talking and she told me she broke up with her bf that she started dating that day, and that day she became my gf. After that we rarely talked online, and talked on the the phone instead. We broke up in June but i want to know if it is normal or not to have an online gf.
Do you think it's normal?

Do you know what girls think of it? It makes us think that you are desperate. I mean, to "date" someone you have never seen before is pretty lame.
I suggest getting off the computer and going somewhere where you can find some decent girls. Try the library. That always works.
And as far as the normality of internet dating, it is very normal. It happends all the time now days. But they aren't effecive, and they usually don't work out, and in some cases doing stuff like that can be dangerous, so yeah...

it's like he said, better than nothing. at least you can imagine that the hot pics are really who your talking too instead of a 47 year old man
