Unfortunately it is becoming the norm in our society for parents not to give a fuck about raising their kids. Hence why they are medicated to sit down and shut up.

NeuroNeptunian's right- there are a lot more parents out there who just seem to not care about raising kids, and I think it's pretty sad.

Even though it's starting to become the norm, I still don't think it's normal.

one entire culture does not take care of their young. they leave all the children alone until they are eight i think. the 7 and 8 year olds are supposed to take care of the babies.
