People are terrible, sure, but some are less terrible than others :P

What is right and wrong anyway? We only know the morals we've picked up and been taught. I know plenty of people who wouldn't knowingly hurt others. We all have to rationalize about everything, but sometimes we get it wrong. We're only human after all.

Immature till death? Perhaps, but "hateful children" is a bit of an oxymoron to me. I personally don't believe that childishness has to be a bad thing.

There is good and bad in all of us. I hope you get a chance to meet better people sometime.

Haha I agree; I was thinking the same thing the other day: Human interaction is ultimately just like two kids playing. If one gets mad then that's the end of it...it could be business, it could be love. Ultimately we have just learned an elaborate scheme for tolerating one another.

Maybe you would like to read "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, if you haven't done it yet. It is very much on the line of your thoughts. Which are, unfortunately, quite lucid and true. Fortunately, even if in potency, there's the possibility embedded in human nature, and your own reflections and perceptions demonstrate it, of sometime in the future to surmount this seeming human nature itself.

It's the awful truth; too many people are exactly this way. If you can't seem to find anyone different, you might want to rethink the kind of people you associate with. The reason you can't seem to meet decent people might be that you're surrounding yourself with shallow individuals who simply don't think on the same level as yourself.

Try something new. Step outside your sphere and you'll see that not all people are the same. You just have to look.

No, I think it is the people you associate with. I tend to enjoy the company of good people so I tend to not have to put up with that kind of crap.

My fiance is the most caring and kind person I know. I personally will bend over backwards to help those who I know will never repay it. I work extra hard so those who can't don't have to and I enjoy my life. My fiance is a loving and caring person who respects me being the same.

So in my opinion, stop hanging out with gutter trash and go to college. Then associate yourself with well educated people and work from there.

No one person is perfect...

No one person is going to be completley good; everyone have there downfalls...

Possibly expecting too much from the world...if you break down your criteria..you'll some the good in people rather than just the bad.
