Hi, I went on a diet for a year ( i am 16) and recently i have been treating myself as i was eating no sweets, biscuits, crisps and pop etc. I have noticed that no matter what and how much i eat, i never get full. I always get diarreah and constipation and everytime i eat, my stomach rumbles. I also have bad wind for a few days now. Can anyone help?
Even when we eat a decent size meal, the stomach delays the message sent to the brain to tell us we have had enough. Thus, many people continue to eat despite having had a decent meal when they should instead wait an hour for the hunger to cease.
Stop eating even if you are hungry and slowly the hunger will fade. Drink plenty of water throughout the day and include fiber in your diet and it will help fight hunger.
As to diarrhea and constipation, you are best off speaking to a doctor. It could be due to a medical problem, a food allergy, or something in you diet is wrong. Iron supplements do cause constipation, so if you are taking any, best to stop. In the meantime, see a doc.
i'm also 16 and i started, to feel really self conscious recently and started myself on a diet!! so basically i just eat about half of whay i usually eat. like when i used to snack i didn't. i didn't not eat anything in particuler, i just cut back on intake. like mabye just 2 and a half meals a day (breakfast and dinner which are 2hrs apart!!) i works really well i've lost bout 5kg in two weeks!! but i didn't get any gas problems or anything, mabye you should talk to your doctor about it
I would strongly reccomend eating large amounts of grapes and beans on one day, then the next treat yourself to as much chocolate and crisps as you like, but on the next day just eat chocolate and crisps, nothing else.
I agree. Drinks lots of water. And having not been on that diet where you weren't eating that stuff for so long. That's what causing your gas and tummy trouble. Alot of times sweets and foods not good for you will make you feel almost hungrier.. or won't last as long as good foods. I say treat yourself maybe once a week to start with until you can get used to them again... talk to your doctor as well.

i eat whatever i want and then i go swimming.
Removing these things from your diet and then suddenly reintroducing them can cause any number of problems in your body.
