Well, if you ask me, I would say it is normal. Just don't be TOO addicted to it. Like, watch it at every opportunity you have. Because, it can sort of ruin your life a little and you might go into your own little world, or maybe even disintegrate your social life. So every once in a while, yea.

I know a lot of guys that are addicted to porn, and I know it's common...but if you feel it's a problem, it's worth seeking professional help. It's all about balance, and being in the real world, and the internet world... good luck :)

Porn is a very divisive issue, I've discovered. I know girls, specifically, who feel porn is gross and can constitute cheating if their boyfriend does it (I don't agree with that at ALL). I personally think it's normal, a non-threatening outlet, and if SHARED with a partner can be mutually satisfying *wiggles eyebrows*. Now, if you forego eating, sleeping, socializing, working, or otherwise living a real life in favor of porn, it is NOT normal. Anything that impedes upon day to day life is a debilitating addiction.

You're human so its normal to get horny. Do you have a girlfriend? If you do, I dont really understand why you'd be "addicted" to porn. But if you are single, Its understandable. Its entertainment and it gets you off. It makes you happy. But if you do end up getting a girlfriend, you need to change this, because I guarantee you that itll start to really piss her off.

People have sex. If they can't have sex they masturbate. I think a porn addiction is normal, for men anyway. I definitely like porn, but I can jack off with nothing but imagination. Watch out for the much more twisted porn out there. it's great, but once you get used to it, you can't easily go back. You also can't go that far forward without raping or murdering someone. I choose to advance slowly, so that I'll still be aroused by anal sex when I'm a senior. I also like to concentrate on much more innocuous images, like faces or a normal female in clothes. It's like sexual meditation, and now I get more of a kick from looking at women on the street.

Another thing; how can you be ADDICTED to porn? It's not a drug...sexuality is a natural part of the human organism. Can you be 'addicted' to breathing? Certainly not like being addicted to methamphetamines.

Unless you're just sitting having orgasms all day 7 days a week and panic at the thought of having to do anything else, I don't see how you can possibly fancy yourself 'addicted' to pornography.

Porn can be an addiction and can be harmful, just like a drug. Studies have shown that viewing pornography can damage the gray matter in your brain. It's an unhealthy selfish habit that leaves you feeling empty and dirty afterwards, at least it was that way for me when I used to look at it. And the more you look at it the more perverted you become.

Looking at porn is a very common thing but that doesn't mean it is normal. People on here want to tell you viewing pornography is normal because they are caught up in the same bad habit and are trying to convince themselves that it's normal, even though deep down the real part of them knows that it's a bad habit.
