I'm thinkin of asking a girl to prom that Ive only talked to once before. Shes not even in any of my classes anymore. Its not like I can't get a date, its just I want to go with someone I've never talked to, I dunno its just I like the excitment and difference of someone different. Would you choose yes (good idea) or No (bad idea)? Comments welcome and appreciated.

I don't see a problem with it at all. Sometimes you have more to talk about with someone you've just met than you do with someone you know. Afeter all, you can only ask someone what their favorite color is so many times before they start thinking you are weird.

Dates used to be thought of as the way you got to know someone you were interested in. Having spoken to them before was never a requirement.

It might be a good idea to ask her for a regular date before the prom to see if you really enjoy being in her company. You don't want to be stuck at the prom for hours with someone you don't really get along with.

Yes, ask the girl to the prom. She will probably be really pissedd if you dont...

yes, it's a great idea, but before you ask her to just prom i think you oughta ask her out on at least one date first, so she doesnt feel intimidated
