I have a question .. I am 21 and consider my self to have little over average the normal amount of chest + pubic hair. In fact, I have never shaved my pubs .. but after noticing so many males in adult videos and pictures having barely any to little to none, I am confused.


Is it normal to have like a lot ..maybe 1-3 '' of pub hair ?? Is it normal to shave this ??

Sorry for the newbie question.

the range of "normal" in terms of amount of body hair is tremendous! There is everything out there from the barely hairy, to the almost gorrila. You amount of hair is normal. dont worry about that. What you are seeing is a bunch of male actors who maticulously alter their body hair to look that way. Trust me, if you were to see those guys "au natural" you would be shocked!

You don't have to shave your hair or anything, shaving in sensitive areas like that can be painful. Body hair ranges in quantity, and porn actors are not natural people. If it bothers you, you can trim it with mustache scissors so it doesn't get snagged on your underwear or whatever, but no need to go crazy.

Body hair on males and females is of course absolutely normal. Don't go by porno standards, it's all down to personal choice.

I myself like men with quite a bit of body hair.

keep in mind, people in pormos get paid to look like that. Don't try shaving with a razor, it's difficult, it itches and when it grows back you get a lot of ingrown hairs and zits. I use that personal groming thing they have on the informercials. They have them at Walgreens now for ten bucks.

You won't see natural amounts of hair on a man in any porno made later than 1982. In the 70's men weren't afraid to have real hair. It went with the whole natural, wild, hippie and such lifestyles that porno actors lived in those days.

These days they just trim it down to almost nothing in order to make their dicks look longer and so you can see all their bulging muscles.

It's really just a vanity thing. However, if you have a lot of pubic hair you might find it more comfortable to trim it during the summer months. Other than that, it's really up to you whether or not to shave or trim. But, in my honest opinion, guys who shave it off look very less than masculine. I mean, who the hell wants to look as if they going through puberty again?
