It's really not cleaner. The hair is there to help keep germs from getting in. You are more prone to infection when you shave. And it is disturbing... it makes you look younger than you are and I would be paranoid by a man that was turned on by it.

its your hair and if you like it shaved,then its ok,i b a male and shave there also,but i get heat rash bad and and shaving reduces the hair thst holds the sweat and since i am shaving there,i shave a little extra off to make it look nice and maybe think of getting a wax job for your self and applying some kind of hair inhibitor if you can find one that works and if you use nair dont get it in your pussy,my wife did men will enjoy the shave and if you feel comfy with the shaved look go for it

Hair traps odor and makes you sweat more so shaved is good. I shave my hair also because a tree looks bigger in the grass than it does in the bushes.

If you like being bald, that's fine, just as long as it's for you and not for a man. It's more common nowadays, but even 20 years ago, most women went to the beach with their pubs poking out, and it wasn't a big deal.
I go from having a brazillian to having a full forest. I prefer the median. Regular bikini wax, so I don't gross ppl out at the beach, but there is still a protective layer of hair.

If you want to make it cleaner, just "trim". It can be short without resorting to the razor. The aftermath may be nice (even though pubic hair is unlike head hair in a sense that it grows in so many different directions you're never truly "bald", unless you wax), but when it starts growing back, you itch and it's all stubby, and that is horrifying. Your skin is sensitive there for a reason, just like the hair.

I say, just TRIM, but don't shave.

I am a married female and my hubby likes it shaved and will mildly complain if I let it go fo a long time. A lot of guys especially expect it to be shaven or at least closely trimmed because that's what girls do in all the porno's and nude magazines. I don' t like the razor stubble so I usually just trim the top part
