I'm a bi girl, and I prefer to completely wax myself. I like this in female partners too, although it isn't a must. I wouldn't bother shaving though - razor burns suck down there! I would trim a little if you don't want to wax though. It doesn't hurt that much once you're used to it - half a bottle of wine helps! It leaves the skin deliciously sensitive too!

But either way, if a guy cares that much whether you have pubic hair or not, is he really the sort of guy you want to trust that deeply?

Do whatever suits you- if a guy doesn't like it, he isn't worth the bother - and everyone has different tastes, just as many guys prefer either way, and most don't mind at all

Bi female here as well. I shave because it's more comfortable, or at least get down there to trim just so the area looks neat. It just feels and looks so much better than a thick fur muff like the kind you see on French girls. It cuts down on odor and mess, too.

At any rate, do what makes you comfortable! If you want it smooth, wax or shave (although if you shave, NEVER go against the grain!). Trim it if you just want it to look and feel a little nicer -- if a guy complains after you've gone through the trouble of trimming the bush, chances are you wouldn't get along with him anyway.

I think you should do whatever makes YOU most comfortable. I would definitely do the wax thing vs. the shave thing though - no stubblies, longer results... I also think that if you said to your bf, "I want to sleep with you, but I have to wait until my wax appointment" he'd be like, screw it and screw me. Given the choice - guys want sex. That's it. I love pubic hair on a woman, the darker the better. Actually, if I have any say in the matter, I prefer that my brunettes not shave or trim at all, especially if they have dark labia, and that blondes and redheads be shaven smooth. That's just a matter of preference, though. Whatever you choose, there's no need to be embarrassed about your sweet little body when you're with a guy. It's rather unusual for a guy to be so picky about your pubic hair that he wouldn't sleep with you (or sleep with you again) because of it. Like blahblahblahblah suggested, when guys want sex, they want sex. I've never turned down sex because of a woman's pubic hair of lack thereof. Most men are perplexed about the obsession women have for shaving their pubic hair. Having pubic hair has almost become phobia which is sad. It's there because most "real" men find it very sexy and it's not what you see... it's what you don't see and leave to your imagination that's HOT!

I've found most men I've spoken to on the subject didn't like to see a woman totally or extremely shaved because it made her look like a little girl and that doesn't interest most "real" men.

Since the divorce, I have dated several women, all trimmed to a landing strip, or some shaved. I do now. What a nice change. A much nicer appearance (my opinion) and no hair in the teeth.
