Random scratches on my arm

Owwwww. I just looked at my arm, and i've got all these scratches on it. Its only just started to hurt now, and i must have had them for at least a couple of hours without knowing about them.
Do you think it's normal?

If your brain is really focused, or if you just got up out of a chair or couch, you can get a little numb, so it could be that you scratched yourself accidentaly, without knowing it.

Yeah, I sometimes accidentally scratch my hand or leg without even noticing it. If you don't feel pain and it's just a little scratch, you shouldn't worry about it.

Some people can't help scratching/itching themselves. It becomes such a habit you don't know you are doing it. It can be mental or it could be triggered by a skin condition. I used to scratch myself all over the place in my sleep and wake up with blood on the sheets and under my nails. I stopped the problem by wearing cotton moisture gloves to bed. Now I can't scratch and I have lovely soft hands! If you think you are scratching yourself see a doctor, you might have early signs of a skin condition that could be treated and cured.
