Is it normal that I can't stand it when my coworkers constantly talk about shows like American Idol and Survivor? They are OBSESSED with those shows, and it's like their lives!! I find it quite annoying. Not to mention, they don't get much work done!

Ignore them. Or introduce a show that you enjoy into the conversation. Either way, they should be working, not gossiping. If their lack of work ethic in some way encumbers you, speak to the manager.

Wow seriously lighten up! Unless it's directly affecting as in they don't get work done that pushes your assignments back why do u care? I could be wrong and forgive me if I am, but you are probably the office jerk that acts superior than everyone. I am one of these people your talking about, even though I don't watch too much tv, but it's fun to talk about idiot people who put themselves out there on reality tv... Check out realitysteve.com it's a hilarious blog about reality tv specifically bachelor/bachelorette I only started watching the show BECAUSE of the blog. But seriously dude lighten up, don't be that "guy" or girl
