I urge you to read the Satanic Bible. Knowledge is a powerful thing. I agree with you about those fears and ignorance being passed down. I believe thats why humans cant evolve properly. Religions restrict our nature as humans and it limits our sciences with 'morals'. They certainly arent my morals or beliefs. They hold on to their superstitions even when the facts are presented. Its a sad thing really.

I agree, I am Muslim. Everytime I try to read or research about religion, I'm scared shitless about Judgement day.
If we don't do what God tells us. He kills us off.
I'm not damning my religion, but the fact about Judgement Day, and the movies, including the History Channel about the Final Days....its just brainwashing everyone to fear. I'm basically fear Satan not God. because come the final days of Earth, I really dont want to see the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) on Earth. That would scare me shit-less.

It seems as though you not only fear judgment day, but many aspects of life. I base this on the comment about being shot for saying your opinion on this website. This is an unreasonable fear in my opinion. If used properly fear can be a useful tool rather than a crutch. Use it wisely.

You base your religious beleifs on the fact that you "cant just not beleive in anything." Life is full of great things to beleive in. Also the way in which you choose to speak in all caps possibly hints at your ignorant views towards poeple who chose not to worship a "god". I beleive it is you who needs to learn to UNDERSTAND, as you would say.

There are thousands of religious around the world, Its seems you have a problem with Abrahamic religions.

Try studying 50 religions instead of just five and see if you feel the same way. Religions is not meant to be a scary thing, its meant for it to be a way for you to have a more open mind and a connection with your creator.

Also, don't cherry pick a few lines from each religion to understand it. Really study it, understand what the verses meant during the time when it was created, read multiple books about it and talk to people that practice it.

Otherwise you are just stereotyping millions of people by tiny snippets of information you have.

Go and watch "Religilous" by Bill Maher and then tell me that religion is not the most stupid thing man has ever believed in!! All religion does is give scared people something to follow and it causes war!!!

I love how all athiests think they're philosophers and that their ideas are novel. Its the same old argument and the same close-mindedness that they accuse religious folks of having. Its the new euro-catholicism and if you're different then you will be shunned and trolled.
