You Humans r so helpless. Let me tell u the truth about Religion on this planet.

I am from a planet called Pexuni, and I know (for a fact) right now there is a set of 122 Gejuexlle beings with a Telepathy Scope watching us from a planet called Tevularo, and probing ur minds with beleifs of all this Religion crap, just to see wat u all do.

religion is not a subject i would discuss on a web site. its kind of complicated. and if someone doesnt agree with your religion...well that can sometimes start a religion war. its too bad that some ppl have to attack what others believe in. not that any of the comments above me have done so. its just that once you open that can of worms, it can get nasty. and the arguement is pretty useless. im not changing how i believe, and neither is anyone else. no matter what. i am a christian, by the way. and i will never change my mind. nor will i ever critisize what someone else belives in. to each his own!

Yeah i'm stil undecided. I dont know where to draw the line between if God really exists or doesn't. Thats why I'm still leaning towards a more scientific approach as to how the Earth and life were created. It is a very touchy subject like sarasso said. Does anyone agree with me here, like how they are still confused about if god really exists or not?

I too switch between having some kind of notion of spirituality and total atheism. If I was to be spiritual, it would definitely not be an image like the judeo-christian-muslim god... I personally find him repulsive

Well for me, I want to believe that there is a god up in the sky, but it just doen't seem plausible to me. Like how did God get there in the first place or did God have a mother and father? And why did God supposedly create Adam and Eve-was it just on a whim? Did he just want to experiment with us? All of the questions I mentioned above are the ones I think about when I question my religion. That is why I lean to science as the answer to our life on earth. I believe that somehow...in this universe, the Earth had perfect atmospheric conditions to produce life. Things like water, c02 and nitrogen and sunlight, as scientists say are key necessary ingredients for life. I just think a more scientific approach at solving the question of "how we got here" is more plausible. Thats my view in a nutshell!

A man at my school tried to recruit me for a "bible study"... coming from a family of jews in a christian dominated society I know the tricks these people will use to try and convert people. Of course he claimed it was objective and "non denominational"... so I thought "hell I am bored, I'll fuck with him".
I told him I read the bible, and it turned me towards athiesm. He looked at me with these sad eyes and to make a long story short I talked to him for about a half an hour bringing up a small amount of things I see that are wrong with the bible. He kind of sputtered alot and avoided answering my questions (obviously he could not) and got really flustered and tried to gracefully leave. Normally I am polite as anyone, but I laughed at him. Good clean fun. What a sucker.

very often people confuse this religion thing with some sort of a team.

So disputes between religions seem to take on a feeling of a football match.

Also, very often if people are called muslims or christians or whatever has very little to do with what those people actually believe, and much more to do with where they live or from what family they come.

So when we talk about religion its very necessary to know wether its the fake teamish pretext or if its what people actually think is the way the world works.
Otherwise we'll be in a conversation where we're unsure of what exactly we're talking about (a very common event in arguments).

I'm catholic. It is tough to be catholic because it hasnt really changed since it was started and alot of the rules are man-made and piss me off, but then I realize that I believe in that because I believe in God and thats all that matters to me.
