So yeah...today when I was riding my bike to college (Yes, there are other modes of transportation besides JUST cars, lol) and today I must have seen at least 5 incidents of road rage. Now it might not seem like a lot to you, but, I just find it ridiculous how road rage is. Now, I love riding my bike everywhere, and am not a big fan of driving.
But anyways, I just find how like basically ALL drivers are uptight and cranky. Like, one little move by another driver, and I see their hands flailing in the air, and cussing at the driver. It's not like the other driver can hear them...and plus they look like complete morons with the arms going in the air. I just wanna tell these people "Hey, relax, this is a moving vehicle with thousands of pounds of steel that could injure a lot of people if you overreact too much."
So, you're probably reading this post goin' WTF. But, idk, it's just everyday things that make you wonder. What makes them tick so much that one little mistake and they freak, ya know?
Oh,and,is it normal to want to ride my nike everywhere I go? So, that I don't get caught in the road rage and scoff at the people who are stuck on the road?
Normal?
also if people try to tailgate me i will just slow down and block them, it's not like them tailgating me is going affect me, if they ram into me, i'll just sue their asses and fake whiplash
I know I need to curb my anger.
btw, impatient driving is a cultural one common to many places but also notably absent in the netherlands or at least in amsterdam.
I was there recently and noticed that the drivers are much more tolerant then in other places i have been to. Cars, bikes, motorcycles, mopeds, buses and trams all peacefully travel on the same streets and you almost never even hear a horn honk. even the cab drivers do not lose their temper. maybe its the semi-legal hashish. I don't know.
The only time I have ever got really mad while driving is when a guy made a gesture with his hand and tounge that basically said "I want to give you oral" I freaked. It pissed me off so bad I flew by them and flipped the bird while never looking at them, and then the guy acted like he was still "into me", and wanted me to approach them, but I guess the driver wasn't into it, because he kept trying to get away from me while the pervert passenger yelled at him. HAHa what losers! I bet I would have recognized the driver, maybe that's why he was trying to get away.
people are douchebags.
and yea its normal to ride on your bike everywhere..just means you dont want to be a lazy slob like everyone else.
good job ha.
lolol hahahahaa, that made me literally laugh out loud !!!
I used to think it was one of those non-adaptive male homrmone things, until I started seeing women do it.
Now I just think it's stupid -- thankfully also a condition that some of us out grow.
40,000 people die on the highway in America every year. That's 100 each day.
Don't lose your sense of caution. Fear is nature's way of saying "Be Careful!"
