I can understand your dilema, air freshers for the most part simply make the bathroom smell like a flower in a cow pasture. The best advice I can give you and it works, is light a couple of matches. What you are smelling is Methane Gas for the most part, and the sulfer along with the flame burn it up not mask it ( it is some kind of chemical reaction). This is real effective in concelling(SP) a natural funtion, and if you smoke it works that much better. As I stated before it is a natural body function but it can be embaressing reguardless. At least you have the CLASS to be concerned!!! GOOD LUCK>

Guys in general don't care and if he "notices" it then make a joke about it. The joke will change the mood as most guys are fasinated with various Gross smells.

No matter what though, relax. It is more you that cares about the smells than him and if you don't make a big deal about it and laugh about it when confronted, it will put him in a more relaxed mood and WILL STRENTHEN your relationship.

If its you that cares so much about the smell, just let it go. Guys tend to love you more if you let the little things go. Odds are, if you have been with him a while, you probably stunk once or twice and he kept it to himself.

Ah, I remember this... the bathroom complex.
Actually, we're taught to be embarrassed by out excrements when we are toddlers. It's programmed into our brains, so yes, this is normal.

Think of this as an opportunity to get to know your partner better. ;) I remember sharing a hotel room with my mate once, and we had these cheese sticks at this restaurant and Oh my GOD the place stunk so bad! Hahaha! We were practically forced to get over the embarrassment. Then there was the farting-during-sex thing... Ah, I'll never forget.

These things sound like nightmares, but once they're over and done, it actually brings you closer (as gross as it may sound to you.) It IS natural and everyone does it, it's just hilarious how embarrassed we get over such meaningless things.

If I were you, the last thing I'd do is worry about it. If he says anything about the smell tell him that his doesn't/wouldn't smell like a bed of roses either. If your relationship is real enough for sex, this is the next step. ;)

i tell my boyfriend if i have to poop so he knows. He tells me too haha.

I just went away with two guy friends, i couldn't poop when i knew they would know, although they didn't have a problem with it.

I waited until we were out for the day and did it quickly in an empty public restroom or something... haha

I understand - not much you can do about this - pooping is an unfortunate fact of life - I would just say - if necessary, "don't go in there for a while" that way they are prepared and can choose to hang on if possible before they go in and stink the place out even more. More importantly - thay are human just like you so try and use the bathroom first or you will have to endure the stinky smell!!

if you're in a hotel, most of them have at least one bathroom elsewhere, usually in the lobby. Use that one if you have to take a dump.

I know this is an old post, but it's not to late to help others in this situation.
