She smells like pickles ALL the time! - 8% Normal

I recently met up, for the first time, with a girl that I've known on-line for quite some time now. We hugged and I immediately noticed a faint "pickle-y" smell on her. Since I hate pickles, it was an instant turn off. But I soldiered through it and watched the movie. When I was leaving to go home, we hugged again, and sure enough she still smelled like pickles. We were at her house that night, and the house didn't have any strange smells, so I just figured maybe she spilled a jar of pickle juice and hadn't managed to get it all off of her. So I agreed to see her again. And once more, she smelled like friggin pickles! What the hell? Is this normal? I know it isn't! But maybe someone knows a polite way to ask her to wash her clothes without the pickle juice? Or is there a medical condition that makes people reek of pickles?

or maybe you should hint by buying her some perfume as rude as it may be

hahahahaha lmfao uuuum just tell her straight out she smells like pickles! My gf sometimes smells like chicken chips and i tell her to go have a shower and brush her teeth lol

a lot of people wash their clothes with vinegar as an additive. maybe she uses too much?

are you sure it's not B.O. or something? I once thought this boy in grade 6 smelled like chicken noodle soup but now that i look back on it, it was most likely B.O.

Can I offer the first straight answer ;) although i have enjoyed reading the previous, lol. The girl in question probably has higher acidic sweat than most people. It is the acid in vinegar that gives it its pungent aroma. A change of diet may help, as well as perhaps using PH balanced soap. Otherwise. . . Learn to love pickles :)

buy her a jar of pickles as a gift and watch her reaction. if she is overcome with joy and squeals "I LOVE PICKLES!" you will know that she probably eats her fair share and then some. if you want to continue to see her you'll have to deal with it. if she acts offended or upset, maybe she will reveal her medical condition that causes her to smell like pickles. if she is nonchalant, maybe she washes her clothing with too much vinegar and doesn't realize the odor is overpowering. if she giggles and says "i work in a pickle factory", well, there's your answer. good luck.

I dated this chick in High School who worked at KFC every night we are going for it in the back of my AMC Pacer and this fried chicken smell. I can't walk into the KFC now with out getting a woody! Is that normal?
