Showers are extremely relaxing! I think my showers would sometimes go that long too if my hot water heater was a little better lolz.

I like to listen to music and drink a few beers while i'm in the shower!

I feel like thats a huge waste of water...

Your friend sounds like me. Who doesn't love the warm water beating down their bodies? Or the music playing in their ears as they contemplate the mysteries of the universe? Think about it.

It's not the washing that takes so long.
He's either relaxing or wanking. Or both.

If he needs to take time to relax under the hot water, he could rather just bath. At that length, it's probably more economical on water as well.

My brother takes around the same length as your friend. I sometimes take showers for around the same time as well. I don't think it has anything to do with feeling dirty it's just an act nothing more. I don't even notice how long my shower length is unless I'm in a hurry.

Maybe he likes being in the shower. I know I do. I'd have longer showers if I didn't feel guilt about being wasteful. I'd love to be rich enough to have a house with a swimming pool. I'd never be out of the thing.

i do the same thing, i also stay at home a lot. We merely do it because when you are home for a while you don't have to rush and can enjoy the simple things. That and the fact that i fall asleep in the shower from time to time, but i digress. Also you don't exactley have anything better to do, plus it is quiet.

I'm a girl and I don't mind staying in the shower for a long time. One time I was in for like 30 minutes, and my parents freaked at me. But thats because I'm a little anal about my hair. I feel like I'm not getting the conditioner out even when I am, so I scrub excessively.

But I don't know, if he has little to no hair on his head, there's probably a possibility that he's taming the mammoth. You should just come right out and ask him why he takes such long showers.

Staying in for that long can really damage your skin, especially if the water is hot.

I love to take to take a long shower.. When i say long it would be around 20 min max , its very relaxing. But i couldn't last for 45 min unless maby someone else would be sharing the shower with me.. ;) you sure he is alone in there? Lol

Normal enough, sometimes the warm water feels good, especially if you have sore joints.
