I'm so f**king tired of living in South Africa. THIS PLACE IS A DISASTER.
(Oh, and to all the Americans- we don't live in the f**king bush with the lions and the elephants. and I'm white)

Recently we (me and my family) were attacked by four guys with guns. They stole our phones and bags and money and car. They wanted my mom's wedding ring, and she couldn't get it off so they beat her up and one of the guys bit her finger to try and f**king get it off. Thank God they left after that. And how long did the useless police take to get there? f**king 45 minutes.

I'm happy I'm alive.
I am not happy I'm South African. I used to be proud but not anymore.


And anyone who thinks this is fake, I will personally hunt you down and rip your heart out

Well, in my time in Africa, I found that even the whites were ignorant. The blacks were fighting the whites but, if they didn't have the white there, they fought each other. They are animals in the maun and we should leave tham to their own devices. Wouldn't be a lot left at the end of the skirmishes :)

I know what you are talking about. Like I knew this guy that lived in a house with like this MASSIVE gate surrounding it. The criminals still got in and invaded the home. They moved to New Zealand and now live a happy life. :)
Move to NZ, and things should be problem-free.

Well, if it's of any consolation, you're definitely not alone in your experience. Lots of people being victimized and lots of frustrations. I hear some Zulus mumbling about how they were better off "before," and one has to wonder if this is the sort of thing they are refering to.

What happened to you sounds like what happened to my stepdaughter and to some friends of ours (we've been very lucky, no incidents at all). I hope your mother recovered from the injuries she suffered from being bitten and didn't contract anything that couldn't be cured...!

click on the news your not the only one, last year the only uncle i had left was robbed at gun point and shot in the face. after that the robber raped my aunt then beat her to death. it happens more often than you think your not alone

It's normal to feel that way, having those things happen.... not cool.... also I have no clue why people think of lions and giraffes when they think of Africa.... I mean I do and I don't understand. Not all of Africa is like that.
