Slipknot. Why hate them?

I love slipknot. I love everything about them. Their preformances every single thing. Joey is the best.

But why do people hate them. It makes me feel like im not normal and i should listen to west life. Is it normal to like hard rock? And why do you guys listen to it?

Well, I'm not a big fan of them at all. I don't believe in hating bands, I believe in not enjoying their music. I actually sort of enjoy some of their music but the masks definitely scare me.
I don't like scremo music though, I'm not sure why, I guess it just freaks me out since I grew up listening to country and pop and rock.

Well, it's totally OK with me that you like Slipknot. Just be yourself and be happy, there's nothing wrong with that. I personally don't really like them, but my opinion on them doesn't count :).

Everyone just likes other things, which is a good thing.

I dont even understand why people bother 'hating' something. Hating and something not being your taste are 2 very different things, and many people dont seem to be able to seperate the 2.

Just ignore the people who tell you to like other things, they will get you nowhere.

cause they're a shit band who use gimmicky masks to sell their albums despite the fact that they're an untalented 9 piece? is the clown really neccisary? only 2 people in the band actually know how to do anything worth recognition (joey and corey). oh and for everyone whos talking about metal, SLIPKNOT ARE NOT A METAL BAND.
