Sometimes I completely loose my short term memory

The other day, I asked somebody a question, and ended up having about a three minute discussion about it. 30 seconds later, I had no recollection of the conversation and asked them again.

around midday, I often find that I've lost all memory of the previous day. (where was I? did I go to work? etc). I then have to spend about 5-10 minutes of thinking really hard in order to remember it.

In conclusion, I basically have these really weird memory lapses, and I dont know if it's cause im only 18 or what. It hasn't really been a major hinderance to my life, but it can be a problem at work and stuff when I literally cant remember from one minute to the next things I've been told to do and stuff. I've started having dreams about it too, where I find myself in places and I dont remember how I got there.. etc. I just wondered if anybody else has this problem. lol. thanks.
Do you think it's normal?

Forgetfulness at this level is very severe. You should make an appointment with your doctor or psychologist immediately.
I have similiar problems and its disylexia for me apparently, go check it out, alx
omg! I'm in the early stages of that! Just a few days ago, i was gonna ask my sister-in-law when was she getting married, like three months after she did.
And I wake up like confused, for a few minutes I think i'm back in my childhood. Its wierd. I have the same problem with info though, not as serious as yours, but I just call it "Young-timers" LOL!
I completly blame all medical side-effects.
I suggest you research your medical history, because they screwed me up. God damn Adderall!
