Sometimes, more frequently now, I wish I were of the opposite sex. I'm definitely not some kind of creep or anything. Just a normal person, but in my head, when I'm alone, I like to picture what it would be like. Sure girls have their downsides, but they seem to have it a lot easier. They seem more appealing to guys than guys to girls. The guy usually does the brunt of the work in a relationship (no offence, just an observation) They seem to be better off socially and seem to have more fun in bed *ahem*... I just thing it would be a good experience to be able to be a woman at certain times. Not forever, and not for any amount of time, but just to be able to be like that.
for 1 thing, they get breasts, and another thing, they are sexy.
and also, a girls can "have fun" without porn or anything like that.
so... i would rather be a girl. also, girls can get away with things that men cant. and girls get a more fun part in sex
A guy could be an 8/10 in looks, and a girl could be an 8/10 in looks and she would be far more succsessful in meeting boyfriends.
There's just something about girls that help them hook easier. But yes, its normal mate.
Also- maybe on tv/porn it appears as if women have a better time at sex- but consider the fact that - unless there is some sort of problem- men orgasm every single time they have sex. Lots and lots of women cannot orgasm from penetration- some can't even orgasm no matter what you do.
Try to understand that you might want to be a woman- but what you think a woman is a cultural fabrication.
I'm a straight, happy girl and sometimes I wish I was a guy, because I feel like I know what people want out of them, and how to make one popular. Sometimes I even feel like if I were a guy, I'd have more confidence.
we don't even necessarily get to the finish line every time.
but yeah, it's normal to wonder
Anyway, this sounds like a case of "the grass is greener" syndrome.
From my perspective, there's still a lot of institutionalized sexism against women.
If you have an open-minded girlfriend you can always try out genderplay, which is tons of fun.
So I agree this is a "grass is greener" thing for you.
My husband and I talk a lot about gender and how our genders act. I personally love being a woman but some days I would love to be a man. Aside from the simple sexual curiosity (not to mention getting to piss standing up without making a damn mess) it's the power. In the group of male friends I have I am generally the joke. I know why. I'm an easy target. I'm asthmatic, a girl, the smallest of the bunch, and in general not very quick on the draw with a comeback. So sometimes I wish I was a guy because I think it would make it easier to be one of the guys lol. I feel that if that whole "I'm a woman" thing wasn't in the way I could get to know them better too. But aside from that I always thought it would be cool to see the difference in attitude towards me if I were a man instead.
A big sticking point with both myself and my husband is misogyny and misandry. The hatred of women and the hatred of men. As much as feminism has been regaled and trumpeted not many people think of the way men are treated. Guys can't get away with anything lol. I mean really. All a girl has to do is point and lie to ruin a reputation. If a guy were to point at a girl and say "she raped me" people would probably laugh. Meanwhile if the roles were reversed it would be a serious matter. I've seen it done first hand. It's a TERRIBLE misuse of the legal system, judicial system, and even the basic social system we rely on.
Yes, it's normal, I talked of it to my parents and they say it's quite common during teenage when guys are fashion-obsessed or too much after glam. And surely, deny it or not, feminine glam is something more beautiful for the eye to behold even for guys,so, this makes the wish strong sometimes.
Seems like glam or sexual thoughts are affecting youths in a sort of negative way.
I think girls rule the world, and very soon if not instantly,as more women get full freedom to live like men, more and more males are going to realize that. It's bcoz women of elite class can enjoy and even allowed to femininity as well as masculinity while males have to stick to only masculinity, else they are ridiculed....
sometimes it might really be better to be the opposite sex, but you know, someday, you'll be glad you're a guy...
....giving birth.....periods.......hair........unable to play cool sports like rugby....... there are plenty of donwsides to being female ya know ...
