I have an SS fetish. It's mostly for the dress uniform the SS officers wore, but it also somewhat extends to the idea of what they were. Not the mass-murder, hunting of Jews for persecution, etc. but just the power, masculinity, intelligence, confidence, etc. Not to mention, it's one of the sexiest uniforms in existence...Pair that with a commanding German accent, and I can't help myself.

I feel bad saying it, and can't really express this to anyone, for obvious reasons. I don't want to be labeled a racist or something. Is it normal to have this fetish? Or, at least, somewhat acceptable?

It's normal to be attracted to the authority/power aspect ... but most people would probably wonder why the "mass-murder / hunting of Jews for persecution" part doesn't turn you off in this case. I guess it's fine as long as it's just an odd fetish and not a belief system or anything (which you said it isn't).

This sort of fetish is an accented version of your love for other people in power. Think about what the SS represented, power and discipline? It's all about association. I myself like a certain sect because of what they represent.

The attraction to strength, power, and masculinity is very normal. The true story of Nazi Germany is exaggerated by history.

Ask an Arab about Americans, and you will see how different they see us than we see ourselves. After all, Nazi Germany was our enemy in war, what are we supposed to say, they were a great people, or something ?

A man in uniform is sexy to many women because it represents ultimate power. The power over life and death. This power was never more on display than with Nazi Germany. Forget the politics, your "fetish" is garden variety and quite harmless.

Aside from the naturally occurring attraction to power and authority, as others have already eloquently outlined here, the German uniform has always been and still is considered to be one of the best and well-thought-out/tailored uniforms in the world. Aside from what it stands for and its associated ideology, it is indeed a staple, all other uniform makers should measure up against.
Your feeling of shame mixed with 'forbidden' attraction is what your sexual attraction is comprised up of. There are plenty of fetishes and, particularly, fetish for the uniforms (men or women) is quite normal (think fireman, nurse, etc..). Authority on any level can be quite sexy. Uniforms add to that appeal.
