I am a recovered Bulimic. Yet I still find myself obsessing over what I'm eating and when I'm eating it. If I have any type of fast food I feel heavy and then sometimes skip the next meal. IIN that I do this?

First off congrats.

In my opinion, it sounds like your body is trying to get use to your new healthy lifestyle.

It's normal. Bulimia's a serious issue, and there's bound to be some aftermath. It can take some time before your issues with food completely go away.

But the fact that you got rid of your bulimia proves that you have an immense amount of willpower. So I think you're capable to deal with this. If you keep up your healthy mindset, your obsession with food will lessen. It won't happen in one day, but give it time and it'll gradually disappear. :)

I'd like to say I'm a recovered annorexic. But I never can say that and feel I'm being honest, because I have the same problem. I still feel intense guilt whenever I eat, I still freak out at calorie counts, and constantly worry about what I put into my body. I still try to eat once a day, or I feel absolutely horrid. I feel as if I'm on the brink of relapse every day. Doesn't help that I just got that Wii Fitness game, and it told me that I've gained weight since I'd last weighed myself, and I am now "technically" overweight. Oh, misery. I'd say it's normal. Unless it's totally ended for someone, and I'm just hopeless?
